“ In the Peoria area for the day.. stopped in for breakfast.. all was very good. Pancakes was excellent!! ”
“ I have eaten here many times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My favorites are anything on the breakfast menu, the onion rings, and liver and oinons. I never have enough room for dessert, but their list looks wonderful. Last night we stopped for dinner. I had liver and onions. For $10.25 I had a bowl of stuffed pepper soup, 2 slices of liver with grlled onions, fresh steamed broccoli, baked potato and a roll. Everything I ate was delicious. Wed nights is chicken night and Fridays is fish night. Try them out if you haven't. Great food and friendly service in a diner atmosphere. You can't ask for more than that in my book. ”
“ Awesome decor like an old time gas station. Very much a mom and pop kinda place which is far different from the usual crap from the CB, BE, and the usual suspects. Instead this is honest food at reasonable prices. Next time I'm back in the area I'll try eating here again. ”
“ Don't let the small size of the former convenience store fool you, Fillin Station is big on taste and huge on service. The General Lee is a must have and everyone in our party raved about their choice and the service. ”
“ I feel a little weird giving this sort of a place 5 stars, but I have nothing to complain about, so here we are. Great old Midwestern country spot. Basic hearty farm food. Extremely friendly and rapid service. Absolutely love all the signs, license plates, and other ephemera on the walls. If you're looking for a true Illinois farm country experience, from the food to the folks, this is it. ”
